Job Purpose

Software Test Engineering Specialist is responsible for testing web applications (both backend + frontend), preferably through automated scripts

Key Responsibilities

• Writing Automation scripts (javaScript, React / Angular).
• RESTful API testing 
• Evaluate test requirements, based on specifications, standard procedures, and internal/external requirements.  
• Develop test plans and procedures
• Preparing reports of testing data, evaluate, and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Manual testing as desired

Experience Required

• • 3+ years of relevant industry experience as test engineer
  • 3+ years of javaScript, React / Angular experience in creating automated test scripts.
  • Good understanding of cross-browser, cross-platform, testing approach
  • Hands-on experience with tool like JIRA, Azure Devops
  • Well versed with defect life cycle and managing it
  • Experience in using test automation frameworks like playwrite. Load testing. performance testing tool like K6
  • Good understanding of creating relevant test data (static/fixed + gynamic)
  • Experience with RESTful API testing
  • Experience in preparing reports of testing data, evaluate, and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Well versed and good working experience of QA “V” model
  • Exposure to Relational DB (SQL Server / Postgres); NoSQL DB (CosmosDB / MongoDB ), HTML5, CSS, jQuery/AJAX
  • Good working knowledge of CI/CD environments (preferably Azure DevOps), Git or similar configuration management software
  • Experience working in Scrum teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited university
