Job Purpose

We are looking for a motivated Research Intern to contribute to a research project focused on software validation in X-in-the-Loop (XIL) environments and process optimization through AI-based solutions.The role involves supporting the validation of embedded software using simulation and test automation frameworks, as well as exploring the use of AI techniques to improve efficiency in test creation, execution, and result evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

Support software validation activities using MIL/SIL/HIL (XIL) methodologies.Develop and maintain test cases and validation scenarios using MATLAB/Simulink and associated toolchains.Design and implement automation scripts (MATLAB) for test execution and data processing.Explore and apply AI/ML techniques to:Assist in automatic test case generationImprove test coverage analysisEnable smart result evaluation and anomaly detectionSupport the development of efficient validation workflows and toolchains.Document methodologies, results, and improvements for internal reports and research outcomes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance validation quality and process efficiency.

Experience Required

• Basic understanding of software validation and testing concepts (preferably in embedded systems).Working knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink.Ability to write and debug scripts (MATLAB and/or Python).Basic knowledge of control systems or model-based design.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech/M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering,/ Mechanical Engineering/ Control system engineering or related field.Familiarity with vehicle dynamics, drivetrain modeling, or control systems.Experience with simulation-based research projects.Note : Preferably from tier 1 college with good knowledge on tractors and implements
