Position: Retail Operations – Servicing

Role Summary

The Retail Operations – Servicing role is responsible for managing end-to-end servicing operations across the retail portfolio, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, superior customer experience, and effective contract lifecycle management. The role requires strong coordination across internal departments, vendors, and customers to ensure seamless execution of servicing activities.

Work Requirements

  • The role may require extended working hours depending on business exigencies.
  • Weekend working may be required as per operational or regulatory deadlines.
  • Ability to manage peak workloads during month-end, quarter-end, and audit periods is essential.

 

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Contract Lifecycle Management

  • Manage complete lifecycle of retail contracts from post-disbursement to closure.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, verification, storage, and retrieval of contracts.
  • Monitor contract amendments, restructuring, renewals, foreclosures, and closures.
  • Track contractual obligations and ensure adherence to agreed terms.
  • Maintain MIS and dashboards for contract performance and servicing metrics.

2. Servicing Operations

  • Handle customer servicing requests including statement issuance, loan restructuring, NOC issuance, foreclosure processing, and account modifications.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer queries and escalations.
  • Monitor repayment schedules, EMI tracking, and system updates.
  • Coordinate with collections, credit, finance, and compliance teams.
  • Ensure accurate system entries and reconciliation of accounts.

3. Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit, inspection, and compliance reviews.
  • Maintain proper documentation trails for servicing actions.
  • Ensure adherence to KYC/AML, data privacy, and record retention policies.

4. Vendor & Agency Coordination

  • Coordinate with field agencies and service partners.
  • Monitor service quality and turnaround time.
  • Ensure contractual SLAs are met.

5. Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Prepare operational MIS, productivity reports, and exception reports.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend operational improvements.
  • Participate in system enhancements and automation initiatives.

Experience Required

 Experience

 

  • 3–8 years of experience in retail operations/servicing within NBFC/Banking/Financial Services preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Qualification 

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
