Job Purpose

To execute this transformation, we need people who take the lead in defining standards and guardrails of working and developing expertise within the teams. This role of Engineering Manager will optimize the deployment of team members across teams and line-manage team members to guide and develop their skills and expertise
The IT APAC team works to empower internal CNH teams across APAC with robust, user-centered capabilities that digitize and streamline business processes, improve customer experience, and help strengthen the firm’s operational maturity. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading technical portfolio management across manufacturing apps, across the different technology platforms within the IT team.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert in managing IT apps support for diversified portfolios like MS Suite, custom apps, SAP, Infor etc.
- Highly skilled in Vendor and people management with providing App support across regions.
- Liaison and collaborate with Infra team to ITIL Processes like Incident management, problem and change management.
- Work along with customers (Product owners, Eng Managers, Business Partners) to define Support processes and build scalable support structure.
- Experience managing multiple projects with stakeholders across different countries in the Engineering.
- Highly proficient in-Service Management including building Service Catalogue and driving customer experience with support of key metrics.
- Manage and maintain a cohesive view between both product offerings, handling operations metrics, version management, and driving process improvements.
- Manage multiple vendors from application and resource standpoint with global presence.
- Accountable for relationship management with stakeholders and Vendors.
Experience Required
- Minimim 14 years of expierence is required.
- Previous experience of leading and managing technical project teams through the deliver to medium to large development projects.
- Should have performed role of a Technical Lead for minimum 5 years.
- Responsible for daily communications with Product Owners, Architects and portfolio managers over project status.
- Develop workforce strategy to meet the organization’s current and future software engineering needs through developing, hiring, and/or sourcing talent.
- Manage resource allocation across teams to maximize business impact of resources and ensure each team has the skills and capabilities needed to achieve its objectives.
- In collaboration with Infrastructure, manage DevOps processes and practices, including automating the handoff of code releases from development to operations.
- Strong technical experience on MS suite or some other technology.Well-versed knowledge of software development, source control and testing methodologies, such as Agile.
- Strong expirenece in Azure, Devops methodologies, Team management is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate / Postgraduate / MBA in IT or related fields
