Job Purpose

The India IT team works to empower internal CNH teams with robust, user-centered capabilities that digitize and streamline business processes, improve customer experience, and help strengthen the firm’s operational maturity. As a part of this team, you will be responsible for managing business stakeholders, customer experience and bsuiness transformations and enhancements decisions across the different technology platforms within the IT team.
Key Responsibilities
ICT Business Specilaist would be aligned with a specific business segment and would act as a liaison between IT and other business units in the organization. As departments increasingly rely on technology, organizations often find they need to establish stronger communication between IT and outside business units. This role is typically a mid / senior level position, for which candidates need a wide range of experience, hard and soft skills and education to fill the job requirements.
As a ICT Business Specilaist , you’ll need understanding of the IT department, but you’ll also need the skills to effectively communicate with business unit and to understand their technological needs. You’ll be a main point of contact between business functions that rely heavily on technology for daily business. This role is focused on the customer and how the company supports the customers’ needs and expectations.
Primary and Secondary duties:
• Developing and maintaining a deep knowledge of company products and services.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders.
• Identifying business' needs and requirements and working with IT Engineering teams for suitable solutions.
• Providing clients with comprehensive product/service consultations and guiding their decision-making process.
• Facilitating complaints and issues efficiently and in a timely manner
• Ensuring client satisfaction. Business and End user advocate
• Owns and drives business value, certifies end product
• Strong experience and knowledge of business domains or previous experience as product owner or ICT Business Specilaist in manufacturing industry. Experience as a relationship manager, in customer service, or a similar role.
• Well-versed knowledge of software development lifecycle, and testing methodologies. Prior experience of working with functional IT teams in similar roles. Proficiency in basic IT tools.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client and business relationships.
• Functional business domain knowledge about their business segment
Experience Required
The ideal candidate will
• 10+ years of overall proven experience with business Products.
• Ensure customers’ priorities for new or changed products and services, in alignment with desired business outcomes, are effectively established and articulated.
• Ensure conflicting stakeholder requirements are mediated appropriately.
• Handling stakeholders’ complaints and escalations well through a sympathetic (yet formal) process.
• Tracking customer and technology trends that could impact customer perception and service provision.
• Must know business issues and communicate in a way that a business person can understand.
Should be proficient in:
o Communication and Collaboration
o Understanding and solving business problems
o Emotional intelligence and empathy to customer needs
o Conflict Management - Identify potential win-win opportunities for customer and own organization
o Establish realistic expectations to support development of mutual trust
o Monitor ongoing commitments to ensure fulfilment
o Communicate both good and bad news to avoid surprises
Preferred Qualifications
• Graduate / Post Graduate / MBA / Bachelors degree in business, IT, CS, Engineering or similar
