Job Purpose
This position will be responsible to provide guidance to the team for technology, apply the same in project. Also, this position shall be able to add value for standardization of technical processes. Shall provide product knowledge to team, remain updated with new emerging technologies, and help in implementing technical strategy. Should help other team members to understand the usage of tools & software. This position should mentor other team members regarding process adherence. Active participation in cross-functional meetings and independent stakeholder management are important factors besides helping team to develop the skills and competencies. The ability to take ownership for his/ her area of scope will set this position apart from the rest. Performs complex tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver network functional and diagnostic projects
- Develop documentation of system architectures for design reviews
- Maintaining Symbol Libraries and maintaining a signal and message dictionary
- Ensuring adherence to industry standards identifying opportunities for CNH to actively driving standards (SAE, ISO)
- Support development process improvements
Experience Required
- 5 to 10 years of experience with off road machinery requirements and operations, electronic specifications (only for “experienced” profiles)
- Ability to work in an offshore team that requires an open mindset.
- Agricultural background or relevant experience in off-road machinery engineering (only for “experienced profiles”).
- CAN Network Knowledge, SAE / J1939 / ISO11783
- Tools – Vector CANDB++(Admin version) , CANoe or CANanalyzer, BUS Master
- Ability to read specifications/ test reports to discuss the issues on the network side
- To be able to understand the architectural designs of ECUs
Preferred Qualifications
- Master or bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic or Mechatronic or Telecommunication are preferred)
- Special interest in communication technologies (CAN, J1939) and engineering process support
- Fluent in English
