Integration Engineer – Sheetmetal & Structural Integrationrpose

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Integration Engineer to join our Crop Production team at ITC Gurgaon. This role focuses on the design and integration of sheet metal and structural systems in agricultural machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in farm equipment design, with hands-on experience in Creo-based 2D and 3D CAD modeling

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and integration of sheet metal and structural components in crop production machinery.
• Collaborate with global and local cross-functional teams including Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Testing, and Supply Chain.
• Create and manage detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with CNH standards.
• Conduct design reviews, DFMEA, DFA, DFM and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Support prototype builds, field validation, and resolve integration issues during development and testing.
• Ensure compliance with safety, durability, and regulatory standards for structural systems.
• Drive cost optimization and weight reduction initiatives through innovative design approaches.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and change management through PLM systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and best practices.

Experience Required

• 8-12 years of experience in mechanical design, with a strong focus on sheet metal and structural integration.
• Proven experience in agricultural equipment or farm machinery design.
• Proficiency in Creo for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, GD&T, structural design principles, and material selection.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Tool Expertise: Creo (2D & 3D CAD)

Good to Have:

• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter).
• Familiarity with CAD & other assist tools (e.g., Creo, Simsloid, Inspire, DFA Boothroyd & Cetol etc ).
• Exposure to global product development and cross-cultural collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
