Job Purpose

The Supplier Quality Specialist ensures the quality and reliability of materials, components, and services provided by suppliers. This role focuses on evaluating supplier performance, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet quality standards and support production needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for Casting & Machining and Sheet Metal & Fabrication for development of parts in other regions for AG & CE segment.
• New Product development - To perform various activities of Design Reviews, Technical feasibility with suppliers, Supplier Interactions, Development Plans, Technical support to meet project timelines.
• Current Product Management - To support regional Plant quality team in resolving current product issues and improvement.
• Planning and undertaking Supplier Improvement plans through Reactive/ Preventive and Proactive approach.
• To interact with peers of various functions like Purchasing, PD, Plant Quality, PDP.
• Has to interact on activities like NPD bottlenecks, technical evaluation of suppliers, PIR resolution, Current product improvement, support to supply chain bottlenecks etc.

Experience Required

• BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 10-15 years experience in handling SQA / SQE  in an automotive organization handling Metallic- Casting & Machining and Sheet metal & fabrication.
