Job Purpose

This role is based at Noida and is responsible for managing buying activities for the India Metallic – Sheet Metal, Weld and Fabrication commodity area, with primary focus on sourcing requirements for the CNH Noida Plant. The role may also extend sourcing support to other CNH plants in India as required, with an estimated annual buying responsibility of approximately ₹100 Cr. The position will report directly to the India Metallic Lead – Sheet Metal, Weld and Fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

Manage buying activities for Sheet Metal, Weld and Fabrication commodities with annual spend responsibility of approximately ₹100 Cr

·  Support the India Metallic Lead in deploying commodity strategy for Sheet Metal, Weld and Fabrication categories, with primary focus on CNH Noida Plant sourcing and extended support to other CNH plants in India as required

·  Lead supplier selection, RFQ management, techno-commercial evaluation, negotiations and contracting for assigned parts in alignment with cost, quality and timeline targets

·  Work closely with CNH Noida Plant stakeholders to ensure timely sourcing support, cost competitiveness, supplier readiness and alignment with plant operational requirements

·  Ensure compliance with Purchasing processes, systems, and Delegation of Authority (DoA)

·  Lead annual cost negotiations including YOY productivity, raw material variations, commercial and technical cost reductions in collaboration with cross-functional teams

·  Manage and control material cost drivers including raw material indices, inflation, productivity, and supplier economics

·  Own budget planning (material cost, capex, revenue) and continuous tracking of performance vs targets

·  Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to define long-term sourcing strategies and supplier roadmap

Experience Required

15–20 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing or commodity management within Automotive / Off-highway / Industrial sectors

·  Strong experience in sheet metal, fabrication, welded assemblies and machining-related metallic components, preferably with exposure to Tractor, Crop Solutions and Construction Equipment applications.
