Job Purpose

Collaborate closely with the CPM Platform Design Team to plan and implement new Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)

Conduct detailed feasibility assessments to ensure smooth implementation of engineering changes on the shop floor. 

Analyze and minimize the risk of part obsolescence during ECO implementation through structured impact assessments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure 100% participation in the daily CPM (Change Management) meetings and actively track action items.
  2. Provide timely updates to the CPM team on all issues, risks, and progress related to new Engineering Change Requests (ECRs/ECOs).
  3. Coordinate with Procurement and Purchasing teams to ensure timely PPAP sample submissions and approvals.
  4. Work closely with Warehouse and Buyers to develop and execute stock liquidation plans for obsolete and superseded parts.
  5. Prepare and execute Fitment Trial (FTR) plans for new parts, ensuring timely trials and release of duly approved FTR documentation.
  6. Ensure all Fitment Trial Reports (FTRs) are complete, accurate, and signed off by the respective stakeholders.

 

Experience Required

Minimum 8 to 15 Years 

Preferred Qualifications

B.Tech(Regular) in Mechanical/Automotive/Production

Diploma(Regular) in Mechanical/Automotive/Production
