Job Purpose

New Product Quality Specialist (NPQ) is a platform core team member, responsible for all aspects of Quality affecting New Product Development and also Current Product Quality- CPQ is responsible for tracking & monitoring product performance of Noida produced tractor in India domestic & Global Markets based on WRS (Global warranty Tool), dealer feedback and other input source data. CPQ positions has key responsibility to meet the SBP Target for warranty Cost, Time to Fix the issue & Failure rate (F/100) for responsible Product Lines produced in India & sold Globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze all available information regarding product performance in the field for the assigned model range from sources including ASIST, Warranty, Quality Tracking, field visit reports, Brand Service and regional Product Support / Quality team’s feedback
• Measure, analyze and report warranty performance indicators for the assigned products. This includes warranty frequency and spending trends.  Complete pertinent data analysis to identify components and systems requiring fix actions or improvement.
• CPQ is also Leader of Early warning team along with Platform Manager to lead the cross functional team (of Plant Quality / PD / Mfg. Engg. / Mfg. / SQE / Purchase / SPD / Brand) for any new program after OKTS milestone approval to manage the flawless launch & issue resolution in Domestic & export market.
• As a core member of the Current Product Management (CPM) team, identify and correctly prioritize field Quality & Reliability issues and guide the CPM and Platform teams to develop action plans to drive fix action and improvements
• He would be champion of diagnosis activities for key field issues to ensure the correct root causes are identified
• Support the Current Product Management (CPM) process in driving timely and focused development and execution of action plans, ensuring fix actions are suitable, correctly validated and delivered to the field in line with expectations within time

Experience Required

• Diploma  + Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering with minimum 10-15 years of experience.
• Product knowledge of Tractor is MUST.
• Technical background with minimum of 8 years’ experience in a Product Technical Support / Quality position, (Agricultural / Heavy equipment experience preferred).
