Job Purpose

To manage Technical Information and Parts Cataloging for the Tractors produced in India

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development and publication of Parts Catalogs and Technical Information Manuals (Service Manual, Operator’s Manual, Standard Repair Time, Installation/Assembly Instruction Manual, Delivery Quality Reporting – DQR (PDI Checklists), Interactive Maintenance Plans (IMP), Warranty Booklets and Service Stationery Items) for tractors. Ensure that all the documentation meet the CNH standard and homologation requirement as per the selling market of the product.
  • Ensure the parts catalog and manuals availability for tractors imported in India. In case of any gaps, coordinate with responsible teams and address the issue on priority.
  • Part of the platform teams for the launch of new products from India AG. Responsible for timely completion of all the Tech Info & Parts Cataloging deliverables to ensure smooth launch of new products. Participate or organize fitment trials and Serviceability Audits as and when necessary.
  • Part of the Design Review Meetings and Change Review Board (CRB) and responsible for timely update of the parts calatog and manuals corresponding to any running change for current products.
  • Jointly develop service special tools along with Product Support, Quality and Engineering. Set up the special tools in the Service Tool Marketplace for dealer’s outside India.
  • Timely resolution of the feedbacks (PHDs and THDs) or queries received from dealers or internal team for tractors.
  • Actively participate in all the initiatives by the global Tech Info & Parts Cataloging team for any process or tool improvement.
  • Regularly present the status of the projects to the management including risk assessment and timely escalation in case of any issue. 
  • Ensuring availability of PO for any supplier work before initiation of the project. Maintain smooth transaction with supplier and ensure payments of service invoices on time.
  • Coordinate with the external service agencies and provide necessary inputs for timely completion of projects.

Experience Required

5-10 Years of work experience in OEMs

Preferred from the same field or from Training, Product Support or Product Validation

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Automobile/Production Engineering

B.Tech in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Automobile/Production/Electrical Engineering
