Job Purpose

• Work in Engine, Powertrain components and Hydraulics and will be responsible for implementation of sourcing strategy for Agricultural segment.
• Global strategic sourcing alignment considering varied sourcing requirement for other regions/subregions.
• Commodity includes Engines, Powertrain and Hydraulics

Key Responsibilities

Primary and Secondary responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for assigned categories to ensure cost savings, quality, and delivery objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sourcing specialists, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Conduct market analysis, supplier benchmarking, and risk assessments to identify sourcing opportunities and challenges.
• Drive supplier negotiations, contracts, and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Ensuring Purchasing processes and system are followed to establish business contracts with suppliers as per DoA.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., GCL, PD, PDP, SQE, Quality etc) to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage category budgets and ensure adherence.

• Prepare regular reports and presentations for category performance.

Experience Required

1. 15+ years of experience in Agricultural & Off- industry preferred.
2. Strong knowledge of category management, supplier market dynamics, and negotiation techniques.
3. Proven experience managing and developing teams.

BE/BTech - Mechanical Engineer
