Job Purpose

Assist employees with both work and non-work related injuries and illnesses at the CNH Plant in Grand Island, NE. 

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage on-site health service clinic.
• Maintain OSHA log and ensure OSHA standards comply with OSHA rules and regulations
• Manage the Drug Testing Program (DOT & non-DOT). Collects drug screen specimens according to guidelines.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with State Nurse Practice Act, FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, EPA, And HIPPA as required.
• Maintain records and assist in the management of the Hearing Conservation Program, the Respirator Program in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Maintain records and manage the DOT program in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier.
• Oversee the occupational injury program, including working with external healthcare providers, insurance carrier or third party administrator to reduce employee lost time and contain costs.
• Manage transitional duty program for medical conditions requiring specific work restrictions.
• Deliver services to maintain safe and healthy workforce; and oversee the onsite Medical Emergency Response Team.
• Prepares reports and maintains associate health files in a confidential HIPPA compliance manner and other duties as required.
• Management of preventive and rehabilitative activities
• Management of the activities aimed to get employees back to work
• Serve as Program Manager for North American Safety Procedures (NASP) related to Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Reasonable Accommodation, Health Management Services, Bloodborne Pathogens and Heat / Cold Stress; as well as supporting all others
• Participate as a member of the CBS+ EHS Team
• Health data collection and analysis.
• Facilitate planning and implementation of activities such as healthy life with exercise, occupational nutritional counseling, mental health care, stress management and blood drives
• Assist with Health and Job Risk Assessments, with planning and implementation of activities based on results; plant employees, contractors, suppliers.
• Initiatives focused on moving the Health Promotion activities from the plant to the outside environment (family, home, school, etc….)
• Benchmark Health and Safety indicators and activities among other plants of similar processes.

Experience Required

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse CAOHC Certification
• Certificate of Collector Training
• Current CPR, First Aid, and Blood Born Pathogen Certificate 3 years relevant experience

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is $74,625 - $93,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
