Intern Program Overview

Job Purpose
The Agronomic Design and Research team works across CNH’s equipment portfolio to advance crop production practices through data collection, research, and field trials. With a strong One Team mindset, the group collaborates throughout the growing season to ensure accurate, meaningful agronomic data is gathered and applied to product development and improvement. With 5 internship opportunities across different teams and locations, students will gain diverse field and research experience while contributing directly to CNH’s innovation in agriculture.
As an Agronomy Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting crop production trials, conducting fieldwork, and working with agronomic data that informs product development. You’ll also complete a project aligned with your interests and your CNH mentor’s guidance, to be presented at the end of the summer.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting crop production field trials throughout the growing season

Conducting plant and soil sampling at various crop stages

Assisting with application data collection to support agronomic studies

Working closely with engineers and researchers to connect agronomic insights with product development

Contributing to data collection, processing, and organization for analysis

Completing an individual field project aligned with your interests and CNH team needs, with a final presentation to leadership and peers
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates may be pursuing an Associates, Technical, Bachelor’s, or Post-graduate degree in one of the following majors or a related field: Agronomy, Soil Science, Natural Resources, Ag Engineering
Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $18.75 - $31.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
