Job Purpose
This position will be responsible for supporting the development and integration of driveline control strategies deployed on driveline electronic control unit. Candidate will support, learn and propose recommendations to develop, review and test software algorithm design in virtual test environment as well as real world application. This position works closely with the Controls, Software, System design, Test Lab and Vehicle groups.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supports development of transmission controls algorithm and is able to perform calibration tuning optimization in virtual environment (MIL/HIL) and real world environment (dyno/vehicle)
- Support decomposition of software requirements from driveline system requirements
- Use Matlab/Simulink to develop controls algorithm for software unit feature designs based on architectural design and software requirements.
- Support Model-In-Loop test plan development to verify unit design implementation, perform MIL test and document results.
- Perform calibration of driveline software in dyno and vehicle environment to optimize drivability performance
- Support verification and validation of driveline controls software using Hardware-In-Loop equipment such as National Instruments.
- Delivers work in an efficient and timely manner in completion of specific project milestones
- Provides team progress updates to direct manager as needed.
Experience Required
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field

Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is USD $19.57 - $27.81 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
