Job Purpose

The PEPD PV DataOps team is a multi-functional group composed of Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Electrical Engineers. Since its formation in 2022, the team has been building a Python-based data platform that supports precision technology product development at CNH Industrial.

Our Mission: Empower Product Validation teams to reliably collect data and draw actionable, data-driven insights that improve the customer experience.

As a Data Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with product performance data, leveraging AI to develop internal solutions that directly inform product validation and development.

 

Intern Program Overview:

Our internship and co-op programs provide mentorship, training, hands-on experience, and growth opportunities that empower students to explore their career paths with confidence. Through competitive wages, networking events, social and volunteer activities, professional development workshops, and housing support, we strive to deliver one of the best internship experiences—designed to develop and inspire the talent of tomorrow. Summer interns work full-time (40 hours per week) from May through August. Candidates must be currently enrolled college students actively pursuing a degree to participate in the internship program.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Leveraging AI to optimize automated data processing pipelines with a priority on data integrity and quality

  • Developing with Python to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance data pipelines for our data platform

  • Collaborating with engineers and validation teams to ensure data-driven insights directly support product improvement initiatives

  • Supporting the team’s mission to provide accessible, reliable, and actionable data that empowers smarter decision-making
     

Experience Required

Must currently be pursuing a bachelors degree in related field.

Experience working with data using Python

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $19.57 - $35.02 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
