Job Purpose
The PD Purchasing Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement of products and materials specifically for product development (PD) projects. This role ensures that all materials required for new product designs and prototypes are sourced on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
Key Responsibilities

Management of FINAME index

Achievement of project milestones
-
Meeting cost targets according to defined objectives

Estimation and control of investments
-
Ensuring 100% of PPAPs (Production Part Approval Process) are approved by the 4P of the project

Estimation and control of premium parts cost
-
Monitoring of SCM (Supply Chain Management) activities to ensure supplier delivery capacity

Cost reduction for existing products
-
Reduction of non-quality and warranty-related costs
-
Implementation of design changes throughout the machine lifecycle with minimal cost/investment
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within product development or manufacturing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA in Project Management
- Advanced English skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Power BI
