We’re on the lookout for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at K-Line Ag in Cowra. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring materials, schedules, and stock levels are aligned with production demands across fabrication, assembly, and painting. This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll work closely with the Operations team to keep things running smoothly — and make a real impact behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Production Scheduler to align material supply with production needs
  • Review production specifications and flag any capacity constraints early
  • Prepare weekly performance reports and visual dashboards for managers
  • Monitor material flows, pre-arrange materials & equipment and troubleshoot inventory issues effectively and timely
  • Collaborate with managers to identify and implement process improvements
  • Coordinate planning efforts with Production, Purchasing, and Finance
  • Automate purchase orders based on project batches (think plates, powder coating, etc.)
  • Maintain strong inventory levels and forecast material needs
  • Document key processes and keep safety stock data up to date
  • Train team members on material and scheduling systems

Experience Required

  • A qualification in business or a related field (certificate, diploma or degree)
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or supply chain
  • Know your way around MRP systems, Microsoft Office, and general computer systems
  • Great communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working independently
  • Understanding of WHS requirements and okay with some light manual handling
  • You enjoy improving systems, solving problems, and keeping production on track
