Job Purpose

Tax Specialist supporting strategy definitions and their implementations

Key Responsibilities

• Support tax-related aspects of planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Lead corporate income tax calculations (local and consolidated), ensuring compliance with statutory and internal requirements.
• Coordinate tax provision and deferred tax analysis in alignment with accounting standards and fiscal reporting.
• Full support special tax projects, specially focused on Brazil Tax Reform.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and proactively assess impact on the business.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure data integrity in all tax filings and reports.

Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economics, Law, or related field; postgraduate or MBA is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience, ideally within multinational environments.
• Desirable previous experience in Big 4 firm 
• Strong understanding of Brazilian indirect taxes, tax regulations and income tax practices
• Advanced English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in multinational companies is considered a plus
• Knowledge on ERP systems, like SAP
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax laws (direct and indirect taxes)
