Job Purpose

The Region Aftersales Manager (RAM) – Field Service and Parts will work to drive improvement of the Focused 5 areas: Customer First – Quality – Delivery – Safety – Profit by developing the 5 cultural beliefs of Customer First, Grow Together, One Team, Make It Simple, and Be the Best within their team.  With that as the foundation they will support both dealers and customers within their assigned regions by giving leadership and guidance to a team of Field Aftersales Managers (FAM’s), and coordinating with other departments within CNH as needed.

The Regional Aftersales Manager will oversee our aftersales operations within a designated region. The successful candidate will lead a team of Field Aftersales Managers, with a primary focus on enhancing parts and service dealer capability and driving parts sales. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in the agricultural industry. In this role, you will provide aftersales parts and service support to assist Case IH/New Holland Agriculture dealers in maximizing the profitability of their dealerships and the company within their assigned region.  The ideal candidate will be centrally located within the territory.

The Regional Aftersales Manager will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with the regional field team and other departments to drive parts and service capability within the CNH Dealer network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering the Focused 5 Key Results and develop the 5 cultural beliefs within their teams.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Field Aftersales Managers to ensure alignment with company objectives and performance targets.
    • Provide guidance, support, and training to enhance team capabilities in parts and service dealer management, customer service, and sales techniques.
    • Leading the FAM team to maximize dealers’ ability to service customers equipment to maximize uptime and minimize product breakdowns.
  • Dealer Capability Development:
    • Collaborate with dealers to assess their parts and service capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance dealer technical proficiency, customer service standards, parts and service standards utilizing defined programs, and overall aftersales performance.
    • Conduct regular dealer visits to provide guidance, monitor progress, and address any issues or concerns.
    • Manage business relationships with the various CNH dealer support functions (Training, Warranty, Special Tools, Customer Relations and Technical Support). Provide dealer feedback to the dealer support function and drive improvements in systems or support to the dealer network.
  • Parts Sales and Inventory Management:
    • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve parts sales targets within the region.
    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for parts sales growth.
    • Work closely with dealers to optimize parts inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely availability of parts to customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Foster strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues in a prompt and effective manner, ensuring resolution and customer retention.
    • Resolving customer and dealer product concerns as escalated by FAM’s while identifying problems through field reports to improve customer satisfaction, uptime, and productivity -- ultimately increasing dealer service profits and reducing company warranty expense.
    • Develop and deploy training programs and awareness initiatives that improve customer satisfaction scores.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare regular reports and performance metrics to track aftersales activities, sales performance, and key initiatives.
    • Analyze data and market insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing recommendations for action.
    • Manages operating budget, customer satisfaction budget accounts, and monitors warranty spending rates
    • Supports and implements communication lines for direct customer contact with company through the use of online tools.
  • This is position is remote

Experience Required

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in sales, project management, or business development role for equipment or managing parts and service department
  • Proven experience in aftersales management, preferably in the agricultural equipment industry.
  • Knowledge of industry practices for agricultural and/or construction equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of all products in region
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing teams and driving results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales and dealer development strategies.
  • Experience in an aftersales support role
    Previous experience managing people
    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with problem solving capabilities
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.

Pay Transparency

​The annual salary for this role is USD $113,000.00 - $151,000.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
