Position Objective

ENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY SPECIALIST

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the HSEE Manager, you will lead the site's environment & energy initiatives, working with internal teams and external stakeholders (DREAL, certification bodies, etc.).
 

Your main missions:

  • Deploy the Environment & Energy Strategy

    • Contribute to defining the site's environment and energy policy, in line with Group guidelines
    • Implement management and performance evaluation tools
    • Identify areas for improvement and lead associated action plans

    Ensure Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management

    • Conduct environmental risk analyses with a prevention approach (goal: zero environmental accidents)
    • Ensure the site's compliance with regulatory requirements (ICPE, applicable standards, ISO 50001, etc.)
    • Be responsible for compliance with legal obligations regarding environment and energy

    Manage the QSEE Management System

    • Participate in the deployment and facilitation of the QSEE system
    • Define, formalize, and update environment & energy procedures
    • Prepare and coordinate internal and external audits

    Monitor and Improve Environmental Conditions

    • Monitor working conditions (noise, pollution, lighting, climate, etc.)
    • Analyze discrepancies and lead corrective and preventive actions
    • Ensure a healthy and safe working environment

    Raise Awareness and Support Teams

    • Design and lead training and awareness initiatives
    • Ensure the dissemination of regulatory requirements and best practices
    • Engage teams in the continuous improvement process

    Contribute to Site Safety

    • Contribute to HSE actions, particularly regarding fire risk
    • Act as the reference for chemical products and ATEX

 

Required Experience

5 years of experience in a similar role

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (Bac +5) in HSEE + 2 years of experience 
  • Or Bachelor’s degree (Bac +3) and five years in a similar experience
