Job Purpose

The CPI auditor is responsible for inspecting the finished product for defects and deviations from specifications. Discuss inspection results with those responsible for the finished product, and recommend necessary corrective actions. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform finished tractor quality audits, ensuring that the product meets the expected quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with Plant personnel to discuss and resolve product quality issues raised during and after the audit Process.
  • Update the organization in a timely fashion regarding the status of quality issues.
  • Participate in product quality planning and control process based on customer’s specifications and requirements.
  • Prepare and update all necessary quality reports as required by Management.
  • Maintain key performance indicators records updated.

Experience Required

  • Understand completely the functionality of our product.
  • Understand the Customer’s expectations of our product.
  • Must be able to recognise defects from a customer’s perspective.
  • Must be able to report defects assisting in problem solving activities.
  • Must be able to reach audit targets defined by management.
  • Must be able to understand definitions of critical, major and minor characteristics.
  • Must be able to use defined inspection tools and perform a product audit.
  • Minimum 3 years practical manufacturing experience.
  • Computer Literacy.
  • Proactive individual who is able to work effectively within a small team to achieve accurate results.
  • Self-Motivated to achieve best results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have a basic knowledge of quality terms, definitions and concepts.

 

This role is a 6 month fixed term contract.
