Job Purpose
The Warehouse Supervisor directs, supervises, and coordinates functions of the warehouse to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, support, and direction.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
- Oversee the accurate receiving, storing, and issuing of warehouse materials.
- Implement and maintain efficient inventory control procedures.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to create a secure working environment.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for warehouse staff.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate regular maintenance and inspections of warehouse equipment.
- Collaborate with management to implement changes that enhance warehouse operations.
- Maintain effective communication channels with other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
- Report on key performance indicators, warehouse metrics, and project status.
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- OR Associates degree or equivalent experience and at least 3 years of supervisory experience
- OR High School Diploma or equivalent experience and at least 5 years of supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Expereince in a union environment
- General Experience with MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) is a plus
Pay Transparency
The hourly rate for this role is CAD $61,000.00 - $73,800.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
