Job Purpose

Support the UK Commercial Controller with the following:
•    ensure the integrity of the financial data and that it accurately reflects company’s financial position,
•    provide support to the commercial teams to improve the area of financial performance,
•    support the discount approval and monitoring process.

Key Responsibilities

Support UK Commercial Controller in the following activities while ensuring financial reporting integrity and compliance according to UK regulatory and tax requirements:
•    Month-end activities, accruals, reconciliation of reserves, close collaboration with the accounting team, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met,
•    Perform discount reserve analysis and support in the approval process,
•    Assist in preparation of quarterly discount budget, prepare reports and perform required analysis,
•    Support in preparation of Selling, General and Administrative Expenses (SG&A) budget and forecast,
•    Monthly monitoring and reporting of SG&A to the marketing and brand management teams,
•    Preparation of financial result monthly KPIs for New Holland and Case,
•    Monthly profitability analysis of the product portfolio and sales in the UK,
•    Ad-hoc tasks as instructed by the senior team members and Commercial Controller,
•    Support Commercial Controller with requirements of external and internal audit processes.

Experience Required

Education:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Economics

Leadership/Behavioural:
•    PC skills and proficiency with spreadsheet programs (e.g. Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, Access),
•    Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential; any other European language is beneficial,
•    Experience with working on projects involving large amounts of data is an advantage,
•    Prior internship or other work experience in Accounting and/or Finance is a plus.

 

This internship starts as 1-year fixed term contract with the potential to extend for a second year.
