Job Purpose

As the EHS&E Specialist, you will perform activities that focus on the environment, health, safety, and energy system and programs at the plant that aid in achieving the company’s total EHSE vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management SEWO program. Coordinate accident/incident investigations and follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Conduct SMAT, Safety Audit. Conduct routine area audits for regulatory compliance and system conformance.
  • Administrative support for programs / procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce HS hazards associated with plant operations.
  • Support for OHSAS18001, ISO45001 management system.
  • Coordinate HS training and communications.
  • Remain current on relevant regulatory and management system requirements and serve as a central resource to the plant.
  • Support tracking and reporting of facility HS performance; internal to the facility, regionally, and through CNH system.
  • Administrative support for HS data, including safety performance measures, training, incident tracking, and audit findings.
  • Generate and prepare reports, presentations, and training modules for use by shop employees, supervisors, and management teams.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement of the HS function across the site. 


 

Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Health, Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering
OR Associates Degree in Safety, Industrial Health, Science or Computer Science, Industrial Engineering
