We’re looking for a driven and strategic Sales Manager based on the North Island (NZ) to lead and grow dealer sales across our Case IH and New Holland brands. In this territory-based role, you’ll work closely with the assigned dealerships to boost sales performance, ensure market share growth, and guide them in presenting a professional image and providing exceptional customer service. You’ll be the key link between our business and the dealer network – supporting dealers with insights, programs, and solutions to help them drive success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure territory retail and wholesale targets are met
  • Drive completion of dealer business plans and quality programs
  • Support dealerships in developing action plans to achieve sales forecasts and marketing objectives
  • Conduct regular dealer visits, e.g., once per month for key dealerships
  • Provide on-the-ground support and insights into dealership operations, including inventory management and competitive positioning
  • Join dealers in customer and prospect visits to deepen engagement and understand market needs
  • Monitor dealer performance in marketing, financial and management areas – escalating issues and recommending solutions
  • Identify product knowledge gaps in dealer sales teams and support relevant training initiatives
  • Collaborate across the business to maintain strong relationships between our brands and the dealer network
  • Work closely with team members in NZ to identify improvement opportunities and boost dealer performance and profitability
  • Ensure quarterly forecast updates and that factory orders align with these forecasts
  • Take the lead with corporate customers, ensuring all internal resources are aligned to deliver a seamless experience

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the agriculture industry
  • Proven sales experience working within a B2B and/or dealer network environment
  • Tertiary qualifications are preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated, disciplined and able to work autonomously
  • Result-driven and enthusiastic approach, with a passion for supporting dealer and customer success
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI skills desirable
  • Strong data analysis capabilities and a good understanding of business performance metrics
  • Willingness to travel across the North Island (NZ)
