Key Responsibilities
Duties: The Analyst Sr., Quality Engineer at CNH Industrial America LLC in Wichita, KS will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to establish and maintain quality standards for existing products and services while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Analyzing statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards. Ensuring product and process quality by implementing standard procedures, conducting quality audits, utilizing Taguchi methods, and driving process reengineering efforts. Coordinating projects to address warranty-related concerns and plant scrap reduction using PDCA/Kaizen methodologies. Overseeing and enhancing the incoming inspection process, including continuous improvement initiatives to reduce inspection costs. Coordinating the PPAP process to ensure product quality and compliance. Collaborating with suppliers to identify root causes of quality issues and overseeing the implementation and monitoring of corrective actions. Working closely with the logistics team to secure production by containing defective parts and preventing disruptions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality concerns, drive continuous improvement, and upholding industry regulations. Salary: $116,938/year
Experience Required
Minimum Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a closely related field plus 5 years of experience as a mechanical engineer, industrial engineer, quality engineer, or related occupation. 2 years of experience with each of the following: 1) ISO 9001 internal auditing and QMS management; 2) Project management; 3) Data analysis; 4) Data management; 5) Kaizen/PDCA practices; 6) Six Sigma methodology; and 7) Root cause analysis tools, including Fishbone, 8D, and 5 Whys.
